HOMEOWNER OUTREACH PROGRAM COMITTEE (HOP): The Board of Directors has created a Homeowner Outreach Program Committee for the purpose of serving those Sixth Avenue West homeowners that may need and/or request additional help in maintaining and/or caring for their lots and to help homeowners who may need additional assistance during an interim period, family crisis or other time period where the homeowner could benefit from services and assistance that may be provided by the HOP Committee.

NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN-UP COMMITTEE (NCUC): The Board of Directors has created a Neighborhood Clean-Up Committee (NCUC) for the purpose of serving the Sixth Avenue West community to provide volunteer assistance in care and clean-up beyond what is provided by other agencies and where areas within the neighborhood (i.e. parks, open spaces, etc.) could benefit from services and assistance that may be provided by the NCU Committee and community volunteers.

FOOTHILLS PARKS AND RECREATION MONITORING COMMITTEE (FPRMC):  The Board of Directors has created a Foothills Parks and Recreation Monitoring Committee (FPRMC) for the purpose of serving Sixth Avenue West and monitoring the operations and functioning of Foothills Parks and Recreation District with respect to any actions or policies that may affect the Sixth Avenue West Community. This would include monitoring any possible transfer of ownership, withdrawal, changes in the servicing of or closure of any open spaces, parks, islands, pools, tennis courts or any other lands or facilities operated and maintained within Sixth Avenue West or neighboring vicinities, as well as monitoring any proposed changes in the boundaries of or areas served by Foothills Parks and Recreation District.

FRONTAGE ROAD AFFAIRS COMMITTEE :  The Board of Directors desires to form a Frontage  
Road Affairs Committee (FRAC) for the purpose of serving Sixth Avenue West and monitoring the
operations, development, and construction of Fastracks with respect to any impact on the
Sixth Avenue West Community and to investigate any and all possibilities to reduce any
undesired effects that the Fastracks program and Light Rail might have on our neighborhood and
community; investigating any possible avenues for acquiring a sound-wall along the frontage
road, as desired by many Sixth Avenue West Homeowners, to protect home values and reduce
the effects of the Light Rail and the 6th Avenue Freeway on nearby Sixth Avenue West Homes;
investigating any and all plans to improve traffic and pedestrian safety along the Frontage Road,
including the possibility of creating a pedestrian / bike path along the Frontage Road.

COMMUNITY EVENTS COMMITTEE:  The Board of Directors has created a Community Events Committee for the purpose of planning and implementing all social events and functions, and encouraging community participation by all members in the Associations social events.

COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE: The Board of Directors has created a Communication Committee for the purpose of preparing and distributing information to Sixth Avenue West Homeowner Association members and Sixth Avenue West Homeowners via newsletters, websites, e-mail and other methods as necessary.

WELCOME COMMITTEE:  The Board of Directors has created a Hospitality Committee for the purpose of welcoming new homeowners to the community, supplying them with pertinent information, such as a copy of the covenants, a copy of the bylaws, a copy of the most recent newsletter, information about community resources, local businesses, schools, etc.

KYFFIN SUPPORT COMMITTEE:  The Board of Directors has created a Kyffin Advisory Committee for the purpose of serving Sixth Avenue West and monitoring the development and any proposed development and/or construction on the Kyffin Elementary Campus as it may affect the Sixth Avenue West Community, to investigate any and all possibilities to reduce any undesired effects that such development and/or construction might have on our community and to generally monitor and interface with Jefferson County Schools with regard to any and all related issues pertaining to or affecting Sixth Avenue West.

EXECUTIVE ADVISORY COMMITTEE:
 
The Board of Directors has created a Executive Advisory Committee for the purpose of evaluating and monitoring legal actions required or related to the Sixth Avenue West community and to provide guidance to the Board through its review of the Bylaws, The Colorado Revised Non-profit Corporation Act, and rules, procedures, and guidelines and other documents of the Sixth Avenue West Homeowners Association. The Executive Advisory Committee shall be comprised of the Board President, the Board Vice-President and up to three other Board Directors and General Counsel (if appropriate) who shall serve as an ex officio member of the Committee.
